The Pharaohs are happy to announce the 3rd annual Lacing ‘em Up for Muscular Dystrophy has been set to take place on Saturday March 13, 2010 @ 6:00pm at the Mt. Lebanon Ice Rink. We can now set our focus on finding our opponent and filling the seats!

The planning stages for next year’s charity game are starting now! If you or someone you know would like to be involved please feel free to let us know. Leave us a comment, send us an email, heck – send a carrier pigeon if you have to! Smoke signals work as well, just stay tuned for more info over the next few months. Tentative date is set for March of 2010!

Thanks again to everybody that contributed to the Charity Game. The Pharaohs took home the W, 5 – 1 over the Metro FOOLS, but more importantly, we raised over $1500 for the MDA! This year’s game totally blew away our expectations and we want to thank everybody for making this a huge success.

In non-charity news, your Howlers Pharaohs are off to a 2 – 0 start in regular season action. Our next game is March 31 at Ice Castle in Castle Shannon.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be taking on the Pittsburgh Celebrity Hockey Team this weekend. The team has, however, made a generous donation to the MDA on behalf of the event, and for that we thank them.

The game will go on as scheduled thanks to Nick Sohyda and the Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS. The Metro FOOLS were eager to jump in a help us out with this event, so we hope everybody will still come out and catch the game and support the MDA.

We’re getting a tremendous amount of support for this years game. Thanks to all of our sponsors, new and old. Here are some of the prizes we’ll be offering at the rink:

Tickets are now available for the Second Annual Charity Hockey Game!

$7 donations will get your seat reserved to see the Coyote Cafe Pharaohs in action against the Pittsburgh Celebrities. Contact our ticket box office today for the greatest seats in the house!

First, a huge thanks to our new sponsor, Howler’s Coyote Cafe in Bloomfield. They’ve been kind enough to provide the team with new jerseys, and in a segue to our other big news, they’ve sponsored the ice time for our second annual Lacin’ ‘em Up for the MDA!
